Advanced Beginner Crochet - Granny Squares

Take the next step from Beginner Crochet to ADVANCED Beginner Crochet, by learning how to make Granny Squares! In this class, you will learn how to crochet in the round with the following techniques:
1. Create a single-colour granny square by working in the round
2. Change colours each round to make a multi-colour granny square
3. Edge a granny square, weave in your tail ends, and add a decorative border
4. Make a magic circle for double crochet in the round
Participants will receive written and charted patterns for making decorative coasters using the techniques outlined above
Participants must be 14 years or older to attend this class. For younger children who wish to learn (11 - 13), please contact us to arrange a private lesson.
Prerequisite: Must be able to comfortably chain, work into a foundation chain, and work single or double crochet stitches. If participant hasn’t crocheted regularly in the last 5 years, they should do the Beginner Crochet class first as a refresher.
