Always wanted to knit your own socks but not sure where to start? Well you're in luck! We're offering a three-session sock workshop we'll guide you through your first pair of DK weight socks. Materials are included in the workshop cost. You'll be supplied with a ball of DK weight sock yarn and double point needles, and a printed pattern.

Session One:  2 -3pm(1 Hour): Learn to cast on and knit in the round using double pointed needles.

Session Two: 2-5pm(3 hours): We will walk you through all the technical elements of the heel section - knitting a heel flap, turning a heel, and picking up stitches along the gusset.

Session Three: 2 - 4pm(2 hours): Learn to decrease the toe of your sock and graft remaining stitches on your needle using the kitchener stitch method.

Skill Requirement: In order to take part in this workshop you need to be comfortable with both knit and purl stitch, casting on (long tail method) and binding off. If you choose to sign up for this workshop, you must be available to attend all three sessions.
