Yoga for Knitters


In this 1 hour workshop, yoga instructor (and avid knitter!) Robin Yolanda Lamarr will guide us through simple yoga based movements that can help to stretch and strengthen the areas of our bodies that commonly tend to suffer the most strain for us as knitters. She will discuss ways that we can incorporate a simple practice into our long periods of knitting time, and even in the physical space where we knit. 

No materials or equipment needed, as the workshop will be done mostly on our chairs, and around our communal table. Loose comfortable clothing is recommended. 

This workshop can be hugely beneficial to anyone who feels the aches and strain that comes from long periods of sitting and knitting. This is an ongoing monthly workshop. We welcome newcomers to the yoga experience as well as those who attend the workshop on a regular basis.
